  • Directly from you when you create an account, purchase, complete an exercise, use Nexus AI, join a call, post in the community, or contact us.
  • Automatically from your browser or device through logs, cookies, security tools, and similar technologies.
  • From service providers that support payments, account access, email delivery, analytics, advertising, scheduling, community access, or customer support.

5. Nexus AI and AI Processing

When you request an AI feature, Nexus may send your prompt, relevant answers, profile context, business information, and instructions to an AI service provider to produce the result you requested. The resulting output may be stored in your Nexus account so you can review, edit, download, or revisit it.

Nexus AI analyzes information to provide educational and coaching guidance. It does not make decisions about credit, employment, housing, insurance, healthcare, legal rights, or other matters that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

AI providers process information under their own contracts, security practices, and applicable policies. We do not authorize them to use Nexus profile information for third-party advertising. Do not submit confidential or sensitive information that is unnecessary for your request.

6. How We Disclose Information

We may disclose information to:

  • Hosting, security, and infrastructure providers, including Cloudflare and related managed infrastructure providers.
  • AI processing providers, including OpenAI or replacement providers used to generate requested outputs.
  • CRM, email, membership, scheduling, and communication providers, including HighLevel and connected providers.
  • Payment processors, such as Stripe or another processor identified at checkout.
  • Analytics, attribution, and advertising providers, where those tools are enabled and permitted by law.
  • Professional advisors, including attorneys, accountants, insurers, and consultants subject to appropriate duties.
  • Authorities or other parties, when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or safety, investigate fraud, or enforce agreements.
  • A successor organization, in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, sale, restructuring, or transfer of all or part of the business.

We may also disclose information at your direction, with your consent, or when you choose to publish or share it.

7. Profile Sharing and Public Links

Nexus AI profile sharing is off until you create or activate a share link. When sharing is available, you may choose a limited or fuller profile scope. Anyone who has an active link may be able to view the information included in that scope without logging in.

  • Treat a share link like a private document link and send it only to people you trust.
  • Do not include confidential information in any profile you plan to share.
  • You may change the sharing scope, regenerate the link, or turn sharing off.
  • Revoking or replacing a link stops future access through that link, but it cannot retrieve copies or screenshots already made by another person.

8. Cookies, Analytics, Advertising, Email, and SMS

We and our providers may use cookies, local storage, pixels, logs, and similar technologies for essential functionality, login, security, preferences, analytics, attribution, and advertising where enabled.

We do not sell personal information for money. If Nexus uses audience matching, targeted advertising, or similar tools, those activities may be considered “sharing” or targeted advertising under some privacy laws. Where applicable, you may request to opt out by contacting us or using any preference control we provide. Where legally required and technically supported, we will also process recognized universal opt-out signals.

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in the message. If you opt in to text messages, message frequency varies and message/data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help. Consent to marketing messages is not a condition of purchase.

9. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain your account and history, fulfill the purposes described in this policy, comply with legal or accounting obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and enforce agreements.

Nexus AI may allow you to sign out or close an active session while keeping your saved data for a future return. If you request permanent account deletion, Nexus will delete or de-identify account, journey, profile, and related app data within a reasonable period, subject to legal, security, backup, fraud-prevention, and operational exceptions.

Deletion from Nexus does not necessarily delete transaction, tax, email, communication, chargeback, or membership records that a payment processor, CRM, community provider, or other service provider must retain under its own obligations.

10. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including encrypted connections, authentication controls, secure session practices, access controls, rate limits, managed infrastructure, logging, and security monitoring.

No online service can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for protecting access to your email, password, device, login codes, and active share links. Notify us promptly if you believe your account or information has been compromised.

11. International Processing

Nexus is operated from the United States. Our service providers may process or store information in the United States and other countries. Those locations may have privacy laws that differ from the laws where you live. By using the Services, you understand that information may be processed in these locations, subject to applicable safeguards and law.

12. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live and whether the applicable law covers Nexus, you may have the right to request access, correction, deletion, or portability of personal information; obtain information about how it is used or disclosed; opt out of sale, targeted advertising, or certain profiling; withdraw consent; and appeal a denied request.

Submit a request to Paul@thenexussalon.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law, but we may require proof of authority and identity verification. We aim to respond within 45 days where applicable, subject to legally permitted extensions.

You will not be discriminated against for exercising a privacy right. Some information may be exempt from deletion or disclosure, including information needed to complete transactions, protect security, comply with law, establish legal claims, or preserve the rights of others.

13. Children’s Privacy

Nexus is intended for adults age 18 and older and is not directed to children under 13. Do not create an account for a child or submit a child’s personal information. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the Services, technology, providers, or legal requirements change. We will update the effective date and may provide additional notice for material changes. Continued use after an updated policy becomes effective means the updated policy will apply to future use and processing, to the extent permitted by law.
